HOW IT ALL STARTED...
Dale & Sandi Boe spent five years in Youth With A Mission (YWAM) traveling around the world overseeing building projects. While doing this, they saw orphans leaving the orphanages as young adults completely unprepared to support themselves.
In 2000 Dale & Sandi started Vocations For Orphans (VFO), a 501-C3 Corp., to encourage and help orphanages set up vocational training programs and assist them with their building projects. |

Over the past years, VFO has hosted volunteers in
Brazil, Barbados, Mexico, Nepal, South Africa, Indianapolis, Indiana, Wichita, Kansas, New
Orleans, and on the Cheyenne River Sioux Indian Reservation.
VFO
has set up a wood shop and computer lab in Brazil for street boy's vocational
training. VFO funds an ongoing honeybee program in Nepal. They purchase hives
and swarms of bees for missionaries. The hives will provide the missionaries
with an ongoing income.
